10,000% Return - Are You In The Right Place?

10,000% Return - Are You In The Right Place?

Scripture

Those who are planted in the house of the LORD Shall flourish in the courts of our God. Psalm 92:13.

Application

Another thing to have in mind if you want to make your way prosperous like Joshua 1:8 is to make sure that you are where God wants you to be. You will not succeed in any other place in the long run. Just to be clear, where God wants you to be may not be pleasant at the moment. It may be tough and unpopular.  But guess  what? That is where your blessings would come to meet you.

One of the persons that made his way prosperous by being in the right place was Isaac. While he was in Gerar famine came. You know what famine is right? No food. Everything is dry. People and animals die. So guess what? He wanted to go to Egypt where there were better opportunities but God told him to stay where he was.

Isaac stayed in Gerar and started investing. He was planting his crops. He used one of the major keys for huge financial success. Invest massively when the majority is afraid. By the end of the year his return was a hundred fold. i.e. 100 x 100 = 10,000% return. I wrote about this from a broader perspective in my book 42 Financial Independence Laws for Christians: What Jesus Taught Me On Becoming Rich During COVID-19 & Beyond in the chapter titled The Lonely Road.

Meanwhile, being in the right place may mean leaving the familiar and comfortable. That was what God did to Abraham. He told him to get away completely from his family and his established roots to where He would show him.

So, what do you do? Take some time to pray and ask God for directions. Let it be in a quiet place. You could get answers the same day or in several days. Don't give up. Keep on asking, knocking and seeking until He tells you (Matthew 7:7).

Don't forget that to make your way prosperous you need to be in the right place.

Prayer Points

  1. Thank you Lord for these truths.
  2. Lord, open my eyes, ears and heart to where You want me to be.
